He did MD Pediatrics from PGIMER, Chandigarh and DM Super-speciality in Neonatology from AIIMS New Delhi.  He handled babies as small as 480g with a gestation of as low as 24 weeks. Overall he had more than a decade of experience in neonatal intensive care.
