Dr. Rishabh Shukla is a dedicated and highly trained Neonatal Intensivist with extensive experience in caring for critically ill newborns. He trained as a Neonatal Intensivist at Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi, where he gained rich expertise in managing high-risk and complex neonatal cases. He further pursued advanced training, earning a super-speciality degree (DrNB) in Neonatology from the prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, a well recognized center of excellence in neonatal care.

His clinical interests include neonatal intensive care, management of extreme prematurity, and improving outcomes for critically ill newborns. He combines advanced medical skills with a gentle, family-centred approach.

He is highly proficient in managing preterm and extremely low birth weight infants (micropreemies), utilizing both conventional ventilation and High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV). He has significant experience in treating newborns with perinatal asphyxia using therapeutic hypothermia, including Blanketrol and Miracradle systems. Dr. Shukla is also well-versed in performing cranial ultrasounds, functional echocardiography, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG).

In addition, he is skilled in all NICU procedures, including SALSA, Double Volume Exchange Transfusion (DVET), and central line placements. He has hands-on expertise in neonatal transport, including critical air transfers, ensuring continuity of care for fragile newborns. He is also a national trainer of advanced NRP.
