Dr. Ashlesha Shimpi is a highly experienced and compassionate Pediatric and Neonatal Surgeon with over 13 years of post-graduate surgical experience, more than 9 years of super-specialization experience in pediatric surgery, and over 15 years of cumulative medical expertise. She completed her MBBS from MGM Medical College, Aurangabad in 2009, followed by DNB in General Surgery from Lokmanya Hospital, Pune, and later pursued her M.Ch. in Pediatric Surgery from the prestigious KEM Hospital and B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai. She further served as a Senior Specialist Medical Officer at Sion Hospital, Mumbai, where she refined her skills in managing complex pediatric surgical cases. Throughout her career, she has held key academic positions, including Assistant Professor in Pediatric Surgery at B.J. Medical College & Sassoon General Hospital (2018–2019) and at Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pune (2019). Her areas of expertise include neonatal and infant surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, congenital anomaly corrections, pediatric urology, and pediatric tumor surgeries.
